Wilma Deering first appeared in Armageddon - 2419 A.D. By Philip Francis Nowlan in Amazing Stories, August, 1928. A second story, The Air Lords of Han appeared in the same magazine later that year. Buck Rogers finds himself reawakened on a post-apocalyptic Earth, some 500 years in the future. Joined by Wilma Deering and Dr. Huer, he fights against various foes.

Current Incarnation (PDSH)

In our stories, Colonel Wilma Deering is a WWII pilot and adventurer. She is sent behind enemy lines with a team of specialists to stop the Nazis from activating a machine that has the potential to contact other planets. When the operation goes horribly wrong, she and Captain Buck Rogers are transported through time and/or space to Theopolis, a city under seige by the galaxy spanning Empire of Mongo.
